One of those weddings is Tom & Jamie’s wedding, which was out at the Vesica Piscis Chapel in Catoosa.  The mixture of the Midwest family and friends with the northeast family and friends made for some hilarious toasts, thick accents, and a lot of good times.

Here’s Tom with his Mom & brother.  If I remember correctly, the ring on Mom’s finger is a ring that Tom gave her back in grade school and that she’s held on to since then …

After grabbing a few shots around the OSU campus, it was time to head over to downtown Stillwater for a few more locations …

We tried the serious pose once or twice, but it’s hard to not be partial to Travis & Katie smiling and loving on each other …

The next three are great as they show the playfulness and compassion between these two … the face Travis made may be due to the Oklahoma heat and a little perspiration …

Before heading to the Petroleum Club, we grabbed a few more photos with the beautiful ’52 Bentley …

After leaving the ceremony site, I followed John & Heather when all of a sudden … SNAP … the rear differential on the Bentley snapped in half.  Since I drive a regular cab truck, there’s not enough room for all of us to fit comfortably in the cab, so I decided it would be best to hop in the bed of my truck for the trip to the reception.  Needless to say, it was the most interesting trip I’ve made from a ceremony to the reception.

The ring bearer was out on the dance floor all night break dancing, but he decided he needed a little help from Dad to take his break-dancing to another level …

The different expressions and anticipation in the pre-garter photo make this special … the little flower girl is trying to figure out what’s up with the blind fold …

It was either give the happy couple a pinch on their back-side or a kiss … here was the best man’s choice …

This last image is one of my favorites of the day as it has so much emotion and was just a perfect ending to a great day!

We were able to find an old junk yard and got a few shot at, around, and on top of some of the rusty cars …

One of the best thing about photos is being able to display / capture the relationship and closeness between two people …

I just couldn’t help but include several serious looks as they pulled it off with ease … and looking good doing it too!

And then we closed out the session with a few photos at the Stillwater armory and at an abandoned train depot …

I cannot say enough about how much I love being around this family, and I think that my friendship with them led to over abundance of pictures for the blog.  Grab some popcorn, a cold beverage, and enjoy the story of Doug & Amanda’s wedding day …

I love the flower in the hair … and I have to say that Amanda looked absolutely STUNNING!!!

While Amanda was finishing up with some last minute recommendations, the guys were starting to get cleaned up …

Haley’s Mom was such an awesome support throughout the day, and it was great being able to see the relationship between Haley, her Mom, and Sister.

There was a hair or two out of place and the stylist said “We’ll just cut it off” … I don’t think Haley was okay with that option …

The fall back-drop couldn’t have been more perfect for the wedding day festivities …
