Steven and Cassi are another OSU couple that had an awesome day in Stillwater at the Bennett Chapel and the OSU Alumni Center. I met Steven back when we were both going to school at OSU and was super excited to get to meet Cassi and capture their wedding day.
Enjoy my favorites from their day and as always, we love comments and hearing your feedback; the girls started off the day at Hello Gourgeous.

I love this shot of Cassi and her niece getting ready …

One last look before putting the jacket on and heading to the chapel …

I love this picture of Cassi making her way out of the dressing room.

You gotta love these shades!

Here’s Steven and his Dad right before the ceremony started …

This shot is my favorite of the day … the sun flare and the newlyweds loving on each other make this shot a keeper in my books!

And yes, the cake was delicious …

And one last one before Steven & Cassi called it a night …

Thanks Steven and Cassi for allowing me to come out and be a part of your wedding day!
Cassi:

So I’m way behind on blogging, but I have 3 great weddings to blog from May and an engagement coming very soon.
Well, let’s start with John & Natalia. John & Natalia brought us down to Marathon, Florida to shoot their intimate wedding with their family and friends. The wedding took place at Tranquility Bay and it was such an awesome backdrop; not that there are too many views from the Florida coast that I would say aren’t awesome.
It was extremely difficult picking out my favorites, but I’m not complaining.
Here’s John’s Dad and Franco getting some of the decorations ready at the gazeebo:

I love this shot of John’s sister helping him with his boutonniere with John’s Mom looking on in the background …

John’s expression is priceless as he watches Natalia and her parents make their way to the gazeebo …

I love this shot!

When it came time for the vows, Natalia was overtaken with emotion; not to worry, John’s Mom was quick with the tissues …

I love the smiles from John & Natalia and the expression from Natalia’s Mom …

After the ceremony, we had some time to grab some relaxed portraits of John & Natalia …

This is one of my top 3 favorites!

This is by far my favorite shot of the day!!!

And here’s a shot of the great looking couple in front of the resort …

And here’s the happy couple arriving at the dinner reception …

It was an awesome week in Florida and we feel so blessed to have been able to be a part of John & Natalia’s wedding. Thank you John & Natalia for allowing us to be there to witness such a beautiful and intimate wedding day!

Well we got into Florida yesterday and it is beautiful! We spent a little time on the beach and today I’ll get a chance to photograph John & Natalia’s wedding here at Tranquility Bay in Marathon, Florida.
I’ll try to post a few later tonight, but here are a few from our view on the beach:

You are truly an artist with pixels as your paint. I am in awe twice; 1st for God’s creation and 2nd for your eye to capture it.

omg it is AMAZING…you might want to sell those pics to the resort. They could be post cards or travel brochure, wall art. don’t have any fun!

I’m super excited to have my first photo published in a national magazine, Amateur Wrestling News! As some of you know, my experience / interest with photography and web design started back around 7 years ago when I started cover Stillwater High School wrestling.
This year, the annual Dream Team Classic was hosted in the Stillwater High gym and featured the USA All-Star team versus the Oklahoma All-Star team. Long story short, it was a great match with a lot of excitement and ultimately, the Oklahoma boys pulled out the win 24-23.
I’ll have a full gallery of the match photos posted some time soon, but here’s the cover for the May 2009 edition of Amateur Wrestling News with one of my pictures from the 135 lb. match between David Taylor of Ohio and Casey Rowell of Oklahoma:

You truly have a knocked for sports photography. You have captured the rage and burning desire in their eyes.
(May 16th, 2009)Thanks for writing this great blog I really enjoyed.

I shot for Penn State for 25 years91967-1995) and had many pix published in AWN. Was also Photographer of the Year in 1987 and 1994. Ran across your listing on Google. Keep up the good work!
(September 2nd, 2009)I’m excited to get my new business cards in the mail later this week and excited for the completion of re-branding Foster Cryer Photography. Here are the new business cards that are going to be arriving soon …
Let me know what you think …
