Sean + Alice :: Wedding

Sean and Alice are two of the most kind-hearted people you’ll meet. It has been great getting to know Sean and Alice through shooting their engagement session and through some interaction with mutual friends. These two are very devoted to God and are super awesome people to be around.

Sean and Alice got married last weekend on December 14th in Guthrie at Living Water Church, with their reception at the Sand Plum.

Here are some of my favorites:

The wind started picking up pretty good in the time that we were in the hair salon, so the plastic bags had to be brought in . . .

High-fives are simply one of the greatest things ever . . . if you’re around me long enough you’ll see that I overly use the high-five, so when the flower girls got in the act, I had to snap a few pics . . .

I love these two pictures . . . the B&W is one of my favorites of the day

I’m not sure what Sean was doing or saying here, but you gotta love an excited groom . . .

It started getting a little windy and there’s a longer story as to why Sean is cracking up in the picture.

Sean is a chemist, so the groom’s cake / cupcakes where an awesome touch by the people at the Sand Plum Sean’s Aunt Vikki and cousins . . .

This little guy was just too cute:

I love the emotion in this picture with Alice, her Grandpa, and her sister . . .

And here’s another cutie getting down on the dance floor

Toni & Dan Turner:

The pictures are beautiful. The best thing that ever happens to us as teachers is to see our students find happiness in their lives. Thanks to Alice for giving us that joy. What a great looking couple!

The Ragsdales & Speeds

I have several family sessions that need some blog love, but first I have some of my favorites from my day after Thanksgiving with the Ragsdale and Speed family.

This family had a lot to celebrate for Thanksgiving as it was 50 years ago that the family started when Grandma & Grandpa begin their story together.

We were lucky enough to get some of the awesome light and awesome weather . . . anyways, here are my favorites from the afternoon:

When we got done taking the first round of pictures outside, I got to experience the musical talent of this awesome family . . . all of the Grandkids got in on the act and I was blown away . . .

We took a little bit of time to get some senior pictures as well . . .

Nothing better than a human pyramid . . .

Happy 50th Anniversary!!!

And then it was game time . . .

The Bauers :: Family Photos

Wow, this is exactly why I love being a photographer; I get to meet awesome people and get to document their lives.  The Bauers were an awesome group and I had a great time getting to know them . . . they are friends of The Youngs who are also another awesome group of people too.

Sorry, I’m digging on the awesomeness of my clients.  Here are some of my favorites from our session last weekend . . .

It started out with football and playing in the tall grass . . .

The one thing I love about photographing families is that you get to see all the different personalities of the kids shine through . . .

And here are a few shots of the entire family . . .

And last, but definitely not least are my two favorite shots from the session . . . it definitely shows you how awesome families start and stay together . . . it’s when Mom’s and Dad’s stay sweet with each other and enjoy being around one another . . . and here’s Dave and Traci

Cowboys Witten Authentic Jerseys:

As a UK-based Cowboys fan, I found your blog on google and read a few of your other ‘boys posts. I just added you to my Google News Reader. Keep up the good work. Look forward to reading more from you in the future.

Last weekend we took the boys out to the pumpkin patch to pick out a few pumpkins.  When we got there the wind made it a little cooler than we expected, but Witten had a good time; at least for most of the time we were there.

As he’s saying in the picture below . . . “COLD!” . . .

He was much more interested in the tracker toys than the pumpkins, ponies, or the hay ride . . . that’s a boy for you . . .

And here’s the beautiful Mrs. Cryer trying to keep Ronan shielded from the wind with that awesome OSU sling . . .

Witten saw one of the big inflatables and got all excited . . . he’s just a little short and young though for this one . . .

We had to get some pictures of Witten up on the hay bales which starte out good . . .

And then he reached his breaking point . . . he wasn’t very happy with Daddy for taking his picture and not getting him down

And he’s still angry . . .

It’s probably because we went to the pumpkin patch late in the season and he couldn’t find a pumpkin he liked . . .

Have a safe and Happy Halloween!!!

Since I didn’t do a very good job of posting pictures for our family and friends here when Witten was smaller, I’m going to make sure that you all get to see our new little guy, Ronan, a lot more.

That doesn’t mean I’m leaving out big brother though; he’ll still be in a ton of pictures as well.

Anyways, here’s a few of Ronan from this last week . . . I can’t believe he’s already a month old!

Allyson Fuller:

He’s gorgeous, congrats!!
